Overview

Adam Kipnis is a seasoned, results-oriented trial attorney that aggressively handles matters in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. His practice is primarily focused on complex and high exposure general liability, products liability, premises liability, construction and Labor Law litigation, as well as toxic tort and class action lawsuits.

An experienced trial attorney, Adam has tried more than thirty cases to verdict, as well as multiple other cases which settled pre-verdict. This includes several multi-million-dollar cases in counties throughout the States of New Jersey and New York. He has also successfully handled and argued multiple appeals in both State and Federal Courts and has also handled arbitration matters before the American Arbitration Association and other arbitration venues.

Adam is known for his ability to deliver a consistently solid work product with high regard for his client’s priorities and ultimate objectives. He has developed a well-earned reputation for being both aggressive but also respectful and is and always has been “client-centered”, an approach that has earned him numerous accolades over the course of his legal career including being rated on a year over year basis as a New Jersey and New York Super Lawyer, 100 Best Lawyers in New Jersey, and a New Jersey Rising Star.

Adam’s experience in both State and Federal courts, primarily in New York and New Jersey, has enabled him to obtain a unique perspective and understanding of geographic differences which enhances his ability to define the strengths, weaknesses, and potential valuation of every case that he handles. Broad experience and knowledge coupled with a consistently strong work ethic and dedication to professionalism are hallmarks of Adam’s practice.

Adam has also worked as an attorney ethics investigator in District IV-A, having investigated and litigated multiple ethics and other complaints, as well as having worked as former public defender in the Municipality of Bergenfield, NJ for several years. In addition, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Hamer, New Jersey Superior Court.

Adam is also a sports enthusiast, an avid runner, basketball player, and competitive tennis player, having played in tournaments throughout the New Jersey and New York Metropolitan area.
