Vito joined Goetz Schenker Blee & Wiederhorn in 2000 and is a partner in the firm’s New York office. The majority of his practice is focused around premises liability, construction, property damage, and New York State Labor Law litigation. Vito heads up the firm’s New York Housing Authority account, and works extensively on matters for Scottsdale Insurance Company and Utica Mutual Insurance Company, in addition to many other large national carriers.
In addition to his core practice, Vito has litigated important fraud cases for NYCHA and has prevailed in numerous summary judgment motions brought on behalf of the firm’s clients over the last decade.
Vito graduated from Columbia University in 1974 and received his law degree from New York University in 1977. He is admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Court (Southern and Eastern Districts). He enjoys the performing arts, playing the electric bass, novels, history, and baseball.
